welcome to my photography blog! my name is tracy turpen and i’m a wedding and portrait photographer in charleston sc. all my wedding, portraits, and personal shoots will end up here so check back often!

how did i get into weddings? well my imagination and resourcefulness were evident in my early upbringing in hawaii and my many attempts as director, writer, and choreographer of numerous plays, dances, music videos, and short films. a photography degree and one internship later led me to the imaginative world of wedding and portrait photography. i love challenging myself on every assignment to create something unlike anything the couple or individual has ever seen. to give personal attention to my clients i accept a limited number of weddings each year.
